About Me

My  name is Francis and I capture moments.  I am an accredited professional photographer exploring landscapes, adventures and the human experience.  I capture events and moments as I see them.  I share my photos in order to share what I see in my world and how I see yours.   Photography is about documenting a moment.  Sometimes they’re candid events, a quick glance, a family event or a sight that takes your breath away.  The power of photography is found in these moments – photographs don’t just document a history, they write it as well.  Through the photograph, emotion and reaction that we heap upon an photos  determine the stories and staying power in our lives.  My job is to capture those moments so they can become a part of your history.  The galleries you see is the work I do and the adventures I have. This is the world through my eyes.  A reflection of dreams, hope, aspiration and a little inspiration. The shots on this site are the embodiment of my world through the lens.  Moments frozen in time. Created from happiness, friendship, adventure and the journey of my lifetime.  These are my photos, the world around me and the people that make the difference.

MY PHOTOGRAPHY BUCKET LIST:  The Ultimate Pursuit of Capture

This is a personal project that allows me to put to practice every concept and theory swirling in my head.  Some area creative, some are a replica of millions of photos, some are far out there, others will require a journey that’s a few years away, but a number of them is simply finding an opportunity to interact and capture people in their environments.   The results of the bucket list isn’t meant to be the most original concept, rather it’s a test to see if I can find the same inspiration and drama in a scene that others have and whether I’ve come far enough in the technical knowledge to take the appropriate shot.  In the same way that my photography style evolves, the bucket list is an confirmation that I understand how others think, see and capture their world.  Some of the photos listed below have been taken tens of thousands of times, and I want to have an opportunity to capture it for myself.  Like a tourist at the Las Vegas sign, this is my version of photos that might be familiar, iconic or perhaps even unique.  The list is like a war, won with one photo at a time over the course of a lifetime.

I’m looking for an opportunity to share creativity as well as the gift of photography.  If anyone would like to volunteer for to be the subject of the items below or if you know of a location and would like to be my guide, I will exchange your generosity with a free portrait session or tutorial.  E-mail me for more information, or visit my Facebook Fan Page, hit the “Like” button and leave your comments & suggestions or even post your own bucket list!  Thanks for stopping by!
